Tom McLoughlin enters his 30th season at the helm of the Devils soccer program. McLoughlin has led the Devils to the Freedom Conference Tournament four of the last five seasons.

In 2010, McLoughlin led the Devils to double digits wins for the first time since 2002 while also guiding FDU-Florham to both the Freedom Conference and ECAC Metro Region tournaments.

Before coming to FDU-Florham, McLoughlin coached soccer at Union County College, leading the women's team in 1984 and 1985 before coaching the men in 1986.

His 1984 women's team made it to the National Junior College Athletic Association championship game and finished the season ranked seventh in the country.

A graduate of St. Joseph's College of Education in Belfast, Ireland, McLoughlin earned his degree in physical education.

Phil Funcia joined Tom McLoughlin's staff in the summer of 2014. Phil is an alumni of Montclair State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health.  
 

In Phil's first full season as Goalkeeping Coach with the Devils, a goalie was able to receive All Conference for the first time in 12 years. Prior to coming to FDU-Florham, Phil coached and trained at a number of clubs and schools. Phil coached the goalkeepers at his alma mater, Whippany Park High School, for four years. In four years at Whippany Park, Phil had three different goalies receive All Conference, All County, and All State. Phil currently works with Cheshire Soccer Academy, as the Head Goalkeeping Coach and coach of multiple age groups. 

Phil holds NSCAA National Diploma, NSCAA Goalkeeping Levels I, II, III and the USSF National E License.
