ANNVILLE, Pa.—Two student-athletes from FDU-Florham received Freedom Conference Player of the Week honors for their outstanding performances over the last week of action.

Courtney Rendinaro (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and starting pitcher for the Devils softball team
Sydney Worek (Bordentown, N.J./Florence Township) were each recognized by the conference this week.
Rendinaro, a junior midfielder, led the Devils to two victories this week in Hilton Head, S.C. Against, Ramapo on Wednesday, the junior fired 10 shots , which resulted in four goals. In addition, she caused five turnovers in the Devils 10-8 victory. In FDU-Florham's 17-11 win over Worcester State, the Devils midfielder netted six goals and two assists in another 10-shot effort.
Worek was named Freedom Conference Pitcher of the Week for her outstanding work on the mound, which led to four victories for the Devils. The sophomore right-hander held #18 Rowan University to one unearned run, and tossed seven innings, allowing six hits, with two strikeouts and no walks in the Devils 4-1 win. Worek finished the week with a perfect 4-0 record and a sparkling 1.55 ERA. The sophomore defeated Bethany College on March 19
th and earned victories over Freedom Conference rivals Eastern University and Delaware Valley College this past weekend.
