SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Senior forwad Megan Springmeyer was named the College at Florham's Woman Athlete of the Year at the National Girls and Women In Sports Day held at Seton Hall University on Sunday afternoon.

A two-time All-Freedom Conference selection, Springmeyer capped off a fine two-year career for the Devils in 2011 after transferring from the University of Albany.  In 2011, she led the Devils in goals (10), points (23), shots (68), and game-winning goals (4) while being named both First Team All-Freedom Conference and First Team All-South Atlantic Region.  A standout in the classroom, Springmeyer has posted a 3.72 cumulative GPA in Hotel/Restaurant Management.
