WILKES-BARRE, PA - The College at Florham Devils men's tennis team participated in the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore
AJ Warden played in first singles and won in the round of 16 by a score of 4-6, 6-2, 10-3 before falling the quarterfinal round. Sophomore
Kevin Kotsak also won in the round of 16 at third singles by a count of 6-0, 6-4 before losing in the quarterfinals. Senior
Andrew Scamporino took a match in fourth singles (6-2, 6-1) but lost in the quarterfinals. Sophomore
Ryan Kearns kept the Devils solid play in the round of 16 going, as he won at fifth singles (6-4, 5-7, 10-8) before being knocked off in the quarterfinals. Scamporino and Kotsak combined to win in the round of 16 at second doubles (8-0) before falling in the quarters. Warden and sophomore
Brian Rifici went the farthest in the tournament as they played at third doubles and won two rounds (8-5 and 8-6) before falling in the semifinals.
