McInaw Named Freedom Player Of The Week

ANNVILLE, PA - Sophomore pitcher/designated hitter Megan McInaw (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) was named Freedom Conference Player of the Week on Monday afternoon after hitting .450 and driving in 11 runs last week.
McInaw started the week on Tuesday when she helped the Devils sweep cross-town rival Drew, 9-0 (5) and 9-8 (8), by scoring three runs in her four official at-bats over the two games. On Saturday, she went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and two RBI in Game One and 2-for-4 with a home run, a run scored and four RBI in Game Two at Eastern. The Devils split the doubleheader winning Game One, 9-2, before dropping the nightcap, 9-8 (8). She finished her week on Sunday at Kean by going 2-for-4 with a RBI in Game One and 1-for-4 with a grand slam home run in Game Two but the Devils dropped both games to the Cougars.
On the season, McInaw leads the team with a .381 batting average, seven home runs and 30 RBI while placing second in runs scored (18) and doubles (8).
