DOYLESTOWN, PA - Delaware Valley used a 44-17 run midway through the first half to jump out to a 50-24 halftime advantage on their way to an 81-54 win over the College at Florham Devils in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 10-10 (4-5 Freedom) while the Aggies improved to 15-5 (7-2 Freedom).

The score was 5-3 in favor of Delaware Valley with 2:00 gone by in the first half when the Aggies erupted for a 25-8 run to grab a 30-11 lead with 8:44 left in the first half.  The Devils cut it to 31-15 but the Aggies ended the half on a 19-9 run to take a 50-24 lead into the locker room

In the second half, the two teams played about even but by that time it was too late for the Devils as the Aggies had plenty of cushion to fall back on.

Senior guard Courtney Young (Bayonne, NJ/Bayonne) finished with 15 points and six assists while senior forward Danielle Michlovsky (Wind Gap, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, February 6, 2010, for Alumni Day against King’s beginning at 1 pm.  The Alumni Game begins at 10:30 am.
