PATCHOGUE, NY - The College at Florham Devils men's and women's cross country teams finished their 2010 regular season by racing at the St. Joseph's (L.I.) Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The men finished 19th out of 22 teams while the women did not have enough runners to qualify for a team score.
WOMEN - Senior
Jaclyn Corseri (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) had a fantastic outing as she finished sixth with a time of 21:21.00. That time is the 15th fastest time in the history of the race. Freshman
Leigh Ann Fournier (East Moriches, NY/Center Moriches) placed 50th (23:59.00) while junior
Lauren Kannenberg (Weare, NH/John Stark Regional) came in 56th (24:28.00).
MEN - The guys were led by sophomore
Steve Duckers (Toms River, NJ/Manchester Twp.), who finished 93rd in a time of 33:28.10. Senior
Yrv Laurent (Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro) came in 99th (33:49.00) while sophomore
Robert Caproni (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) placed 109th (34:32.10).
The Devils will finish their season on Saturday, October 30, 2010, by competing in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at Delaware Valley beginning at 10 am.
