Devils Fall To Eastern, 8-1

ST. DAVID'S, PA - The College at Florham Devils were defeated by Eastern, 8-1, in Freedom Conference action on Friday afternoon.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 3-7 (0-5 Freedom) while the Eagles improved to 6-4 (2-2 Freedom).
The lone win of the day for FDU came at third doubles where freshmen Lauren Abate (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) and Lindsey Martin (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) won by a score of 8-5.
The Devils return to action on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at home against Wilkes beginning at 3 pm.
