WILKES-BARRE, PA - The College at Florham Devils women's tennis team competed in the MASCAC Individual Tournament on Friday and Saturday hosted by Wilkes and King's.

Freshman Lauren Abate (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) won her first round match at first singles, defeating Leanne Laporte (Arcadia) by a count of 8-4.  Abate then went on to the Quarterfinals and was knocked off by Emily Swarr (Elizabethtown) by a score of 6-4, 6-2.

The Devils are now finished for the fall season but will return to action in the Spring with a trip to Hilton Head, SC.
