Head Coach-Tom McLoughlin

Tom McLoughlin enters his 22nd season at the helm of the Devils soccer program. McLoughlin has led the Devils to the Freedom Conference Tournament four times in the past eight seven seasons.

Before coming to FDU, McLoughlin coached soccer at Union County College, leading the women's team in 1984 and 1985 before coaching the men in 1986.

His 1984 women's team made it to the National Junior College Athletic Association championship game and finished the season ranked seventh in the country.

A graduate of St. Joseph's College of Education in Belfast, Ireland, McLoughlin earned his degree in physical education.

Assistant Coach - Chris Coulthard

Chris Coulthard enters his third season on the FDU coaching staff.

Chris is a graduate of FDU Teaneck, where he completed both his MBA in Quantitative Analysis and his BS in Finance.

In the 1990's he played for the FDU team that reached the #2 ranking in the country. He also helped the Knights to the NCAA Elite Eight twice and the Sweet Sixteen once. He is in the FDU Teaneck Hall of Fame as part of one of the most successful FDU teams ever.

As a youth, he played for the England Under 15 Youth Team and for Wallsend Boys Club. Other clubes he has played for include Newcastle United, Doxa (NY) and the New Jersey Celtics.

Chris and his wife Michelle have two children, Leanne (4) and Brendan (2).
