Strength & Conditioning Coordinator

Bill Klika, C.S.C.S., SSC, USAW - Now in his thirteenth year at Fairleigh Dickinson, Bill Klika has taken FDU's strength program from its humble beginnings in old Vanderbilt Gym to its state of the art facility in the Ferguson Recreation Center. The first strength coach in FDU history, Bill now deals with 18 NCAA Division III Athletic teams. He is a certified specialist in sports conditioning and has a masters degree in education from FDU, along with a B.A. from Lehigh University. Bill lives in Long Valley with his wife Kerry, and sons William and Winslow.

Bill is a USA Weightlifting club coach, having started the "Devils Training Hall" here at FDU. This Hall includes the Devils Weightlifting Team, an olympic lifting club where all people are welcome to train.

 

Assistant Strength Coach

Nick Curry, C.S.C.S.; USAW Senior Coach - We are pleased to return Nick Curry to our Devils Power Staff. After several years of training at FDU, Nick enters his fifth year with us. Nick comes from a storied family of olympic lifters, and still currently competes. Nick will be focusing on athlete technique and development, and his knowledge of periodization and international training systems is invaluable. Nick also works locally as a Physical Therapist's Assistant.
